These terms govern your access to and use of ExemptPay, including this website, the information and benchmarks available on it, and any reports you generate. By accessing or using the site or its information, creating an account, or purchasing a report, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. ExemptPay provides comparability data and documentation only; it is not legal, tax, accounting, audit, or compliance advice, and we are not acting as your attorney, CPA, auditor, or compensation consultant. Please read these terms alongside our Privacy Policy.
ExemptPay provides compensation benchmarking reports generated from public IRS Form 990 filings and Bureau of Labor Statistics data. Reports are informational tools to support your own decisions and the advice of your qualified professionals.
Reports are not legal, tax, accounting, audit, or compliance advice, and ExemptPay is not your attorney, CPA, auditor, or compensation consultant. You remain responsible for your own compensation decisions and for obtaining advice from your own qualified professionals.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.
Reports are sold as one-time purchases, not subscriptions. When you purchase a report, you receive a license to use and share that report within your organization and with its board, advisors, auditors, and funders.
You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense ExemptPay reports or data as a standalone product without a separate written agreement. Consultants and funders interested in volume or partner arrangements can contact us.
Because a report is generated and delivered immediately, purchases are generally final. If something went wrong with a report you generated, email us within 14 days and we will make it right.
Benchmarks reflect the most recent public filings available and the methodology disclosed in each report, including sample sizes and quality tiers. Public filing data can contain errors or omissions outside our control; we present it transparently so you can weigh it accordingly.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExemptPay is provided “as is,” and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report at issue.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
